Chandigarh, September 21

Dr Kushaljit Singh Sodhi, additional professor in the Department of Radiodiagnosis, was awarded the Dr Arcot Gajaraj Endowment Oration Award for his outstanding contribution towards development, progress and teaching of paediatric radiology in India, at the recently held 14th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Paediatric Radiology in Kolkata. Over 200 delegates attended the annual meeting. The title of his oration was ‘Lung MRI in children: A potential game changer’.

Dr Sodhi highlighted the importance of MRI as a radiation-free modality in the evaluation of pulmonary diseases in children. They could be saved from radiation risks involved with CT scan.
