Katra: The number of pilgrims visiting the Shiv Khori shrine has been continuously rising despite a hot and humid temperature in the region. This year, more than 7,33,948 pilgrims have already visited the shrine. Located in the Reasi district, the Shri Shiv Khori shrine is 3.5 km from the base camp at Ransoo. According to the latest data, the shrine recorded 15,000 pilgrims reaching daily at the base camp Ransoo for the last 20 days. Chairing a meeting of tour operators and officials from different departments, Reasi Deputy Commissioner Ravinder Kumar, who is also the Vice-Chairman of the Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board, said the board had provided many facilities, including road connectivity, parking and security, to ensure a memorable experience for pilgrims. — OC
