Manali, April 13
A meeting of the Paragliding Technical Committee was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Capt Randhir Singh Salhuria, Director, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, who is also the chairman of the Paragliding Technical Committee.
The meet was held to check paragliding equipment and to conduct the test of paragliding pilots to ensure the safe and secure activity of commercial paragliding for tourists.
The inspection was carried out at Solang Valley and it has been also organised at Dobhi (Kullu). About 200 paragliding equipment were inspected and passed and the test of 10 pilots was also conducted. — OC
