In a bid to inculcate good traits of the Indian culture in the youth, the Sanatan Dharam Sabha, J&K, will celebrate “parents worship day”, instead of Valentine’s Day, at Geeta Bhawan on February 14.

Secretary of the sabha Sat Pal Singh Rathore, while briefing the media today, said, “These days we find increasing lack of accord between parents and children. The consequent untoward incidents and increasing number of people resorting to old-age homes have become a cause of concern now.”

“Let the children worship their parents and apply tilak on their foreheads and similarly let the parents hug their wards,” he added.

President of the sabha Jagdish Dogra appealed to all branches of the sabha to celebrate “Matra-Pitra Poojan Diwas”. — TNS
