Pass percentage remains at 74.58

The pass percentage of Ludhiana in Class-XII exams remained 74.58 per cent.
A total of 38,095 students had appeared for the Class-XII exams conducted by the Punjab School Education Board of which 28,412 students passed.
In Punjab, Tarn Taran district has done very well in Class-XII exams. The pass percentage of the district is 91.19 per cent and total 15, 736 students had appeared of which 14,350 students passed this year.
Other districts, whose pass percentage crossed 80 per cent include Gurdaspur 86.34 per cent, Amritsar 84.97 per cent and Kapurthala 80.77 per cent.
The district which has done worst this year is Barnala, whose pass percentage in Class-XII exams is just 61.73 per cent. A total of 6,911 students appeared for the exam of whom, 4,266 could pass. Total 19 students from Ludhiana have placed themselves in the top-10 merit list this year.
