Police procure CCTV footage of bank, parking lot

To nail robbers, teams of the Chandigarh Police and the Mohali police procured the CCTV footage installed at the entrance to the bank.
The footage of the CCTV cameras installed by the parking contractor in Sector 34 was also taken in custody.
The CCTV footage of a camera at the entrance of the bank was procured by the police. Meanwhile, the CCTV footage of the camera at the entry of the paid parking lot from where the cash van crossed has also been collected.
Sources said that the footage of the last five-days has been procured. "We will scrutinise the CCTV footage to see if the white Fortuner vehicle used in the crime by the robbers had come to Sector 34 to conduct recee", said a police source.
Police sources said that the CCTV footage of several other places on the route from where the cash van crossed had also been procured. The Mohali police is also scrutinising the CCTV footage of the robbery of Rs 5 lakh reported at Khuda Ali Sher in Chandigarh in June 2014.
