Police raid ex-cop's house

Ludhiana, December 5

The police today raided the residence of Manjider Singh, who was involved in the fake police encounter at Jamalpur. They also conducted raids at Lahana village and Taran Tarn, but failed to nab the erring police official.

Manjinder is charged with destroying evidence. Two youths, Harinder Singh and Jatinder Singh, residents of Bhoapur village, were shot by the police officials.

Two officials have already been arrested. Khanna SSP Harash Bansal was placed under suspension.
