Powergrid beat THDCIL in bridge c’ship

Dehradun, February 2
A three-day 20th Inter Central Power Sector Undertakings (ICPSU) Bridge Tournament under the aegis of Power Sports Control Board (PSCB) commenced at THDC India Limited (THDCIL) Rishikesh today. In the first round, NEEPCO defeated NHPC 20-10, while Powergrid defeated THDCIL 16-14.
SK Biswas, Director (Personnel) along with other distinguished guests inaugurated the tournament by lighting the lamp. Vijay Goel, general manager, delivered the welcome address while Biswas hoisted the flag of Power Sports Control Board (PSCB).
KK Ghosh, AGM, THDCIL administered the oath of honesty and sportsmanship to fellow players. Students of THDC High School, Rishikesh, performed a cultural programme on the occasion.
