Elaborate arrangements are being made at the Mansa Devi temple to celebrate Navratras beginning April 8.

Since the temple completed its 200 years this year, the celebration are going to be special this year. The organisers have brought flowers from Kolkata to make the deity’s bungalow.

“The bungalow will be made three times during the nine-day festival.” said the chief executive officer of the shrine board, VG Goyal.

The organisers are expecting a sharp increase in the number of devotees this year. As many as 60 rooms and seven halls with 100 beds have been kept for the stay of the devotees. No VIP pass will be issued this year.

Celebrity singers and musicians will be the main attraction. On April 10 and 12, Anup Jalota and Anuradha Paudwal will perform, respectively.

On April 12, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will inaugurate four newly built temples inside the Mansa Devi temple complex .
