Ramesh new CGM of BSNL, Punjab Circle

On superannuation of Gurdeep Singh Julka, Ramesh Chander Hooda has taken over the charge of the Chief General Manager (CGM), Telecom BSNL, Punjab Telecom Circle. An officer of the Indian Telecom Services (ITS) 1980 batch, Hooda has worked on various key posts in the BSNL at Gurgaon, Faridabad, New Delhi, etc.

Prior to his joining as the Chief General Manager, Telecom Punjab, he was working as the Senior General Manager, Telecom Ambala in the Haryana Telecom Circle.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
