Senior Congress leader Vikram Singh Negi has asked officials concerned to restore road link to villages that have been cut off due to the rising water level in the Tehri Dam reservoir.
Negi met Chief Minister Harish Rawat here today and told him that several villages in Pratapnagar, Dunda, Jakhnidhar and Bhilangana block were totally cut off due to the rising water level in the Tehri Dam reservoir.

He said till the time road link was restored, a total of 10 motor boats must be made available to ensure that the movement of inhabitants of the affected villages was not restricted.
He suggested for a construction of ropeway in this regard. Rawat assured him of a prompt action.
