Sanitary napkin vending machine in govt college

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a sanitary napkin vending machine has been installed at Arya Government College here. The machine has been installed in girls’ toilet on the college premises.

The girls who hesitate to buy these napkins from vendors will now procure these from the college vending machine by inserting a coin of Rs10 into it.

College Principal Arvind Pathania said an incinerator had been installed for scientific disposal of the used sanitary napkins which would exterminate possibilities of infection among users.
