SBI launches housing loan scheme

Jammu, December 18

The State Bank of India (SBI) administration office, Jammu, today launched its ‘Housing Loan Scheme on Wheels’. The launch was jointly inaugurated by AK Singh, deputy general manager, State bank of Jammu and regional manager OP Kakroo.

The highlights of the scheme are that there will be no processing charges up to February 28, 2017, and a low rate of interest at 9.10 per cent. AGM Gurdeep Singh and other officials of the bank were also present on the occasion.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
