School bus crushes child to death

A three-year-old child was crushed to death by a school bus at Suncity on the Dhand road here today.

The deceased has been identified as Dharmender. He was the son of a labourer working at Suncity.

Sources said the incident took place when the driver of a bus of Indus Public School here hit the divider where Dharmender was playing. The victim died on the spot .

The body was taken to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered against the unidentified driver who fled the spot.
