Shimla has a new attraction: A wax museum

The “Queen of Hills” now has a new attraction — “Johnnie's Wax Museum”, which was thrown open today at the historic Willow Banks estate, set up in 1871 by James Craddock, the "Architect and Builder of Simla", on The Mall here .
On display are 16 wax statues, all made in London with a mix of Hollywood, Bollywood and of course a slice of politics with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barrack Obama standing face to face.
Set up by Gurgaon-based BM Brothers, the look of the Willow Bank Estate has been restored with a complete wooden look. On display are the statues of Mahatma Gandhi right at the entrance. Statues of Justin Bieber, Johnny Depp, James Bond, Iron man Robert Downey Jr, Harry Potter, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Jackson, Steve Jobs, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Hirdesh Singh ( Yo Yo Honey Singh) and footballer Lionel Messi are also there.
“We have plans to add many more attractions to the museum, including statues of Mother Teresa, Sachin Tendulkar, Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Zuckerberg, David Beckman, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra,” said Manager Priya.
There is an entry ticket of Rs 250 per person while entry for children below five is free.
