Shiv Sena protests, seeks check on corrupt practices in RTO

Members of the Shiv Sena held a protest demonstration at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) here today.
They are demanding a check on corrupt practices in the RTO and strict action against those who indulge in overspeeding without caring for the lives of other people.
The protesters alleged that the level of corruption in the RTO had crossed its limits. They said overspeeding by city buses and Vikrams had become a severe threat to the people.
State chief of the Shiv Sena Gaurav Kumar said, “The RTO has failed to perform its duty”.
He threatened that if their demands were not fulfilled soon, they would be forced to intensify their protest.
Rajneesh Garg, Rahul Kumar, Manoj Vohra, Raj Negi, Sanjay Thapa and Sanjeev Kumar also took part in the protest.
