Shopping complex opened in Garhi cantonment

The Uttarakhand Sub Area General Officer Commanding (GOC) Maj Gen Shammi Sabharwal has said that every possible step would be taken to improve infrastructure in the Cantonment area.
He said that basic facilities would be enhanced further for veteran defence personnel who visit Cantt areas for medical, canteen or other purposes after inaugurating a shopping complex at a function at Garhi Cantt area here today.
He said the shopping complex is open for serving and retired defence personnel and civilians.
Maj Gen Shammi said the complex has a departmental store, card gallery, cafeteria and a snacks corner.
“The newly constructed shopping complex would definitely cater to shopping-related needs,” he said. Maj Gen Sabharwal said shoppers can purchase frozen food items, grocery and daily need items at lower prices in comparison to market rates here.
