Shrine board welcomes nomination of BB Vyas

At a meeting of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board at Kakryal here today, the board members welcomed the induction of BB Vyas, who was nominated by Governor NN Vohra, chairman of the shrine board, as a member of the board earlier this week.

It is relevant to recall that Vyas has been involved with the establishment of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital for the past two years and has also been serving as a member of the hospital’s governing body.

He served as the chairman of its finance and accounts committee.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
