Slogan-writing contest: Baltana resident wins

Chandigarh, June 16

The result of the slogan-writing competition for the International Day of Yoga has been declared. Shelly Dahiya, a resident of Modern Enclave, Baltana, bagged the first prize and won a cash prize of Rs 5,000 for the slogan, “Yog ka abhyas swasth bharat ki or badhta vishvaas”.

Komal Tanwar, a resident of Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, bagged the second prize and won a cash prize of Rs 3,000 for the slogan, “Aao milkar karen yog, rahen swasth bane nirog”.

Meanwhile, Suman (Mind body soul, yoga is for all) and Rajeev Kishore Tiwari (Jo bane yogi, sada rahe nirogi), residents of Sector 7-C, have bagged the tied third prize and will get cash prize of Rs 1,000 each.

All the winners will geta chance to sit in the VIP block in the Capitol Complex during the June 21 event.
