Sohail, family to attend Arpita’s reception

Family members of Bollywood actor Salman Khan will attend the wedding reception of his younger sister Arpita Khan here on May 25.
Arpita tied the knot with Aayush Sharma, son of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anil Sharma and grandson of former Telecommunications Minister Sukh Ram, on November 18 last year in Hyderabad. Aayush is also eyeing a career in Bollywood.
Salman’s actor-brother Sohail Khan, mother Salma Khan, sister Alvira and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri will attend the wedding reception here.
The former Union minister said the couple would come to the town for the first time after the marriage.
After performing some rituals, ‘dhaam’, a traditional feast, would be organised at the Gymkhana Club near Paddal Ground here on May 25, he added.
Arpita, a fashion designer, is the adopted daughter of Salim Khan and Helen and the youngest among the Khan siblings.
After the high-profile marriage, a grand reception followed in Mumbai on November 21, which was attended by Bollywood actors, top businessmen, corporate honchos and politicians.
