Pithoragarh, November 21
Keeping border security in mind after the Paris terrorist attacks, the SSB has decided to intensify patrolling at border and open 19 new posts, SSB sources at the frontier headquarters at Ranikhet said today.
“We have decided to open more posts at places along the Nepal border that are difficult to patrol and needs extra force so that patrolling could be intensified,” said Shyam Singh, IG, SSB.
He said the security agencies of Nepal were helping the SSB in patrolling the border. Both agencies were using night vision cameras and modern patrolling equipment during night. “We have also strengthened our intelligence network along the border,” said the IG. — OC
