Real World Entertainment is ready to release its maiden Punjabi film ‘Arjan’ on May 5. The star cast of the film includes singer and actor Roshan Prince, a national-level basketballer Prachi Tehlan, Hobby Dhaliwal, Shivender Mahal, Niraml Rishi, Baninderjit Singh, BN Sharma, Rupinder Kaur, Deep Mandeep Kaur, Jarnail Singh, Jaswinder Makrauna, Nihal Purba, Deepali Arora and Karanveer Kaur.
The film has been directed by Manduip Singh. Previously, he had directed ‘Just U & Me’ and ‘Punjabian Da King’. A team of the film was in the city today for its promotion. Manduip Singh, the director has also written the story of the film, along with Nihal Purba, who has penned its screenplay and dialogues.
Manduip said, “We can’t reveal much about the story at the moment, but the film is surely going to make a mark. I believe film-making is the greatest art and there is an unlimited scope of experiment and innovation. So, I was ready and confident for directing the movie”.
The creative producer of the film, Rajesh Bhatt, said, “This is my first Punjabi movie. I am happy to be associated with the project and look forward to something good in Punjabi cinema.”
The producer of the film, Puneet Chopra, said, “Besides being enthusiastic and happy to work with this team of actors, I am also relying on their talent and confident of the success of the movie.”
The lead actor, Roshan Prince, said “It is an unusual script. The character is quite close to the real life. This is another platform for me to show my real self.”
The lead actress, Prachi Tehlan, said, “I have been playing basketball at the national level and had little interest in the tinsel town. Now, I am happy to start my career with this movie. This being my debut, I am looking forward to mark my presence in the Punjabi movie industry.”
Music for the film is composed by Jassi Katyal and Gurcharan Singh. Lyrics are from Happy Raikoti, Sanjay Glory, Simranjit Singh Hundal, Dalbir Sarobad. Singers Roshan Prince, Nooran Sisters, Prabh Gill and Nimrat Khaira have lent voices to songs in the film.
