Dehradun, February 9
Chief Minister Harish Rawat has directed officials concerned to begin the work on the much-awaited Dehradun (Purkul)-Hathipaon (Mussoorie) ropeway project and the six-storied parking at Kingcraig in Mussoorie. He chaired a meeting of the Empowered Group of Ministers at the Bijapur guest house here yesterday.
The Chief Minister also directed the officials to develop the Hathi Paon and George Everest area as an eco-friendly tourist spot.
He said the two projects would be implemented on the private public partnership (PPP) mode and the officials should ensure high standards in construction.
