State award for photographers Anand Sharma, Satish Chalotra

The J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages today announced the ‘State Photography Awards’ for the year 2013-14 and 2014-15.
Academy secretary Aziz Hajini, in a statement, said the first prize for 2013-14 was won by Anand Sharma for his photo titled ‘Sunrise’ while the second prize went to Adnan Ali Zahidani for his photo ‘City of Saints’. Arshad Hussain bagged the third prize for his photo ‘Innocent Companions’.
For 2014-15, the first prize went to Satish Chalotra for his photo ‘Flowers Need Care’ while Amrit Kour bagged the second prize for her photo ‘Clowns’. M Akram Khan won the third prize for ‘Sharing the Experience’. — TNS
