Bodybuilder Pushpinder Bharti of J&K has been selected to represent India in the forthcoming “Mr Asia” Championship-2015 slated to be held at Kitakyushu in Japan from June 5 to 8.
North India gold medallist and former Junior Mr India-2011, Pushpinder Bharti had represented the country in the “Mr Asia” Championship held at Colombo in Sri Lanka in 2014.
Besides that the state bodybuilder also emerged J&K overall champion twice. He is also a North India gold medallist. SM Sahai, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), and Rajeev Charak, general secretary of the All J&K Bodybuilding Amateur Association, had congratulated Pushpinder Bharti for his selection and hoped that he would bring laurels to the state as well as the nation.
Ten bodybuilders have been selected from India for participation in the 49th Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship.
