A three-day annual technical-cultural festival ‘Exodia-15’ will start at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) here tomorrow.
“Students always strive to give the most diverse events in the festival,” said Mohit Sharma, a coordinator of the festival.
Technical events cater to the inquisitive minds to solve various problems based on their current knowledge about science and its application. Cultural events define the ethnic cultures of various parts of the country and are for sharing ideas and cultures, he said.
Mohit said this time students would present a range of technical events, such as sumo wars, line follower, junkyard wars, APPtitude, dementia etc. Nearly 500 students from other colleges and 600 students would participate online in the festival.
A workshop about CanSat development, which would teach them dynamics of a satellite development process, would also be held, the coordinator said.
A footfall of nearly 400 students was expected for the cultural events, Mohit said.
There would be a plenty of informal events, including a photowalk, selfie competition, photography competition etc, he claimed.
