The events of the annual technical festival ‘Techvaganza’, held by National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar, concluded here today.
An organiser of the event said several programmes were held today, including a workshop on nanotechnology and ‘AutoCAD’. Non-technical events, such as an exhibition on medicinal plants, were also held.
Other workshops that were held since the commencement of the ‘Techvaganza’ on May 22 included IBM Industry Oriented Programme, Innovation by Young, Python Programming and DRDO Workshop on Big Voice Data.
Padma Shri awardee Dr Srikumar Banarjee was the chief guest on the inaugural ceremony of ‘Techvaganza’.
Students from SSM College, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir University, NILIT, GWPS, SP College, Mumbai University, Women Polytechnic, GDC, Pulwama College of Engineering, KGP and MAI, among others, participated in various events.
Even as the main ‘Techvaganza- 2015’ programmes concluded today, the organiser said a valedictory function will be held tomorrow along with a laser show.
