Tehsil office opens at Dhrini

Vice-Chairman, HP Forest Corporation, KS Pathania today inaugurated a new tehsil office at Dhrini village in the Shahpur Assembly segment.

Congratulating the people for the inauguration of the new office, Pathania said Rs 25 lakh had been sanctioned for the construction of the building, the work on which will start shortly.

He said that it was the contribution of the Congress government that the Shahpur segment witnessed tremendous development.

Pathania thanked Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for granting Rs 2.37 crore for Boh Kul, Rs 89 lakh for a science laboratory in Government Senior Secondary School, Drini, and Rs 55 lakh for bathroom in Shahpur.

He announced that two HRTC buses would ply from Boh Drini Bhliad to Tanda and Dharam-sala shortly.

He announced Rs 10 lakh for the repair of the Sub-Tehsil building. He said the construction work on Drini Khurd–Chunana road will start shortly. Later on, Pathania inspected the work in Tal Mata mandir building being constructed at the cost of Rs 15 lakh and directed the officers to expedite the work.

ADM Balbir Thakur and tehsildar Shiv Mohan and other officers were present on the occasion.
