Trains to be diverted, short-terminated
Ludhiana: The Northern Railway will undertake the doubling work at Sultanpur, Pilkhani, Bhadaiyan and Lambhua Stations on the Lucknow-Sultanpur-Varanasi section of Lucknow Division from March 5 to 17, 2016. At the same time, non-interlocking work in connection with doubling work between Budhi-Chhann Arorian stations on the Pathankot-Jammu Tawi section of Firozepur Division will also be carried out from March 12 to 14, 2016. Due to traffic blocks during this period, some trains would be diverted, short-terminated or regulated from March 12 to 17, 2016.
Trains to be diverted from March 12 to 17
The 12238 Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Begampura Express train will be diverted to run via Lucknow-Pratapgarh-Varanasi with stoppage at Pratapgarh. Train number 12237 Varanasi-Jammu Tawi Begampura Express Train will be diverted to run via Varanasi - Pratapgarh- Lucknow with stoppage at Pratapgarh.
The 13049 Howrah-Amritsar Express train will be diverted to run via Zafrabad-Faizabad-Lucknow with stoppage at Faizabad. The 13050 Amritsar-Howrah Express train will be diverted to run via Lucknow-Faizabad- Zafrabad with stoppage at Faizabad. On March 13, 2016, the 12331 Jammu Tawi-Howrah Himgiri Express train will be diverted to run via Zafrabad-Faizabad-Lucknow with stoppage at Faizabad.
Short termination/ short origination of trains on March 14
The 14033/14034 Delhi Junction, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Delhi Junction, Jammu Mail train will be short-terminated at/short originate from Pathankot. The 12237/12238 Varanasi-Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Begumpura Express train will be short-terminated at/short originate from Pathankot Cantt.
Regulation of trains from March 12 to 14
The 12471 Bandra Terminus-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Swaraj Express train (journey commencing on March 11) will be regulated for 60 minutes en route on March 12, 2016. The 12473 Ahmedabad-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Sarvodaya Express train (journey commencing on March 12) will be regulated for 60 minutes enroute on March 13, 2016. On March 14, 2016, the 12471 Bandra Terminus-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Swaraj Express train (journey commencing on March 13) will be regulated for 335 minutes en route, the 12919 Indore-Jammu Tawi Malwa Express train (journey commencing on March 13) will be regulated for 290 minutes en route, the 18102 Jammu Tawi-Tatanagar Muri Express train (journey commencing on March 14) will be regulated for 205 minutes en route and the 22679 Yashwantpur -Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Suvidha Express train (journey commencing on March 12) will be regulated for 150 minutes en route.
