UHRO submits memorandum

The Universal Human Rights Organization gave a memorandum to the district administration for Prime Minister Narendera Modi to begin a CBI enquiry of the crimes committed by Ajit Singh Sandhu. They also demanded to ban the Punjabi Movie “Gaddar” which reveals that Ajit Singh Sandhu who had been working as SSP, Tarn Taran is still alive and living in Canada. However, the character of Ajit Singh Sandhu has been depicted as one of Surjeet Singh Sandhu under the imaginary name, but the same is of Ajit Singh Sandhu, SSP. The UHRO alleged that Ajit Singh Sandhu during reign of terrorism and indulged in killing many innocent youths under the garb of eliminating terrorism.

Birthday celebrations

A state-level function to celebrate birthday of Master Tara Singh will be held at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan on June 24. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, will be the chief guest and Vidhan Sabha Speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal will preside over the function.

While addressing a meeting, Hira Singh Gabria said this function will be held from 10 am to 1 pm.

Neeru Katyal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, (General), Ludhiana, deputed officers on different duties. The meeting was attended by SDM (west) Kuljitpal Singh Mahi, Punjab State Backward Classes Commission vice-chairman Nirmal Singh. — TNS
