Undisclosed income worth crores unearthed during raid at scan centre

A team of Income Tax officials from Mandi Gobindgarh carried out simultaneous raids at the outlets of a local scan centre yesterday. Undisclosed income worth crores was unearthed during the raids.

According to department sources, the team raided the Patiala and Rajpura outlets of Delta Scan Centre. It had confiscated documents related to their finances.

The sources said during the raids, the team unearthed undisclosed income worth over Rs 1.25 crore, while the centre owners were showing an annual income for around Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.

The officials said they would further scrutinise the financial details of the centre owners and would proceed as per the law.
