Sadhvi Niranjan, Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, took the residents of Rambaans village by surprise today. She was here to meet a local doctor called ‘Bhagat Ji’, supposedly known for curing serious ailments.

Sadhvi suffers from chronic back pain. Treatment from some of the best hospitals, including AIIMS, has failed her so far.

Talking to the media persons after her meet with ‘Bhagat Ji’, Sadhvi Niranjan said she felt relieved following treatment by Bhagat Ji. The AIIMS doctors had suggested surgery. I refused to get it done. Instead I came here, she added.

The matric-pass doctor claims to have powers bestowed by a saint in his childhood, to permanently cure several chronic problems.
