Dehradun, February 18
SN Verma, MD of Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL), said renovation, modernisation and upgrade of hydropower projects was a regular feature in the state. The projects were generating optimum electricity to bridge the gap between demand and supply in the state.
He stated this while addressing participants at the inaugural training session for 56 newly appointed technicians here today.
Verma urged the participants to exhibit their skills to achieve the set goals in the given time frame. Sandeep Singhal, Director, projects, and LM Verma, Director, finance, were present at the function. —TNS
