Bhawesh Jagudi, state president, UPNL Karamchari Mahasangh, while addressing the agitators said Naresh Kumar had died after the termination of his service by the state power department.

He lamented that government officials had not taken any steps to fulfill their demands, despite memorandum was submitted to government officials. Protesters said former Soldiers’ Welfare Minister HS Rawat had assured them that their demands would be met but nothing was done to fulfill their demands.
