Rawat directed the officials concerned to complete the construction work within the given time. He emphasised on giving priority to the quality of construction work and told the officials to take care of the handicraft of the hill region in the construction process of the bhavan building.

He said Uttarakhand Bhavan being constructed in Mumbai would work as a bridge between the natives of the state and expatriates. Uttarakhand Bhavans situated in other cities of the country should work to boost the sale and popularity of traditional products of the state. Hilly foodgrains, such as mahua, koda, jhangora, kala bhat gahath etc, along with traditional handicrafts, should be distributed and marketed here.

The Chief Minister assured tourists and pilgrims that the Char Dham Yatra was entirely safe and the state government had made full security arrangements. He welcomed all the tourists and devotees from across the nation and world to the state. Tireless efforts by the state government had resulted in lakhs of people reaching the Char Dhams and other places in the initial phase of yatra this year, he said.

Rawat invited the expatriates of Uttarakhand to invest in the state as the government had started various schemes for the benefit of the businessmen.
