Veteran Punjabi film actor Satish Kaul, who was discharged from the Gian Sagar Medical Hospital, Banur, recently after a successful treatment of his broken hip and now found shelter at his admirer’s residence in Ludhiana, was honoured by the Patiala-based National Theatre Arts Society (NTAS) on Thursday.
NTAS director Pran Sabharwal said he was honoured in Ludhiana during a simple ceremony.
Kaul was presented the prestigious Punjab-Punjabi-Punjabiat Di Shaan Maha Nayak Award by the National Theatre Arts Society.
They also honoured Sita Devi, who has been looking after the veteran actor since he was in the hospital for thr treatment.
