The protesters took away the body of Arun without a postmortem. They lodged a complaint with the hospital medical superintendent regarding the alleged negligence of doctors.

Medical Superintendent Dr Vinay Mahajan said he had sought reply from HoD, Surgery, Dr Ramesh Bharti. Action would be taken against anyone found guilty.
