Jammu, March 19

Honorary general secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, J&K, Roma Wani called on Governor NN Vohra, who is also the president of the IRCS, J&K, at Raj Bhawan here today.

Wani briefed the Governor about the to-date construction status of Red Cross House in Srinagar, training of volunteers, status of the new Jan Aushadhi stores and Super Specialty Hospital in Jammu.

Vohra stressed the importance of training in first aid and other life-saving techniques being imparted to the volunteers to meet any emergent situation. — TNS
