Wing Cdr killed as bike skids into gorge near Kasauli

Wing Commander Sunil Agnihotri was killed when his bike (DL-8S-BQ-5621) bike skidded off the Dharampur-Sanawar Road around 9:45 am on Sunday and fell into a 200-300 m gorge after hitting a tree.

The officer was on his way to the Kasauli-based Air Force Station when the mishap took place. Locals and police teams reached the spot to evacuate him. He was first taken to the CHC at Dharampur and later referred to the Regional Hospital at Solan. He was, however, declared brought dead by the doctors at Solan.

Police officials said he hailed from Hathras area of Uttar Pradesh. A post mortem was also conducted by the doctors at the Solan hospital. He suffered fatal injuries on various parts of his body leading to his death. — TNS
