Old students of the schools posted condolence messages online, especially on facebook and twitter. School librarian Kurian Arackle, sharing a letter received from an alumnus today remembering Saeed Jaffrey, said it was indeed a loss to the country and the schools.

He added that he had a duly autographed book written by the actor in his possession that he would keep as a prized souvenir. Saeed Jaffrey studied up to class X in Wynberg Allen School and later at St. George’s College, Mussoorie.
