Youngest female dhol player gets 95.2%

Jahan Geet Singh, the youngest and only female dhol player in the country, has made the city proud yet again.

A student of Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, Jahan Geet has scored 95.2 per cent marks in her Class XII CBSE exams in the humanities stream. A state awardee, Jahan Geet said, “I wanted to do something unique, so I decided to take up playing dhol as a summer activity. There has been no looking back since.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
