Karnal, October 11
A couple committed suicide by jumping in-front of a train late Saturday evening near Karnal Railway Station. As per the police, both the boy and the girl were married to different people; however, the police are investigating a love angle.
The deceased have been identified as Balinder of Taraori and Neha of Padhana village. SHO GRP Ajay Kumar said they received a message that a person met with an accident, with a train. When the police reached the spot they found a body of the ‘couple’ near the track.
The SHO said they were investigating all angles of this case.
