For not implementing the last year orders of a local court, two Volvo buses of the Haryana Roadways were ordered to be attached today.

On the plea of Chief Inspector Rajinder Singh, the court had ordered last year to release his withheld financial benefits within two months. 

But, the roadways did not care two hoots to obey the order, which today acted tough, on his executive petition.

It was in 2014 that the roadways retired Chief Inspector had filed a civil suit in a local court to be given salary on a par with his juniors. 

He stated that he joined as a conductor in 1967 and by 2004 he was promoted as the Chief Inspector. He retired from this post the next year.

However, his junior who was from a reserved category was promoted as the Chief Inspector in 1994. In another case, his junior was promoted before him. On this, he filed a civil suit in the court that had ordered in his favour. 

Yesterday, a local court ordered to sell three attached Volvo buses of the Punjab Roadways after it failed to give Rs 2.5 lakh increment to one of its conductors. 

The court pronounced the order on the execution petition of conductor Harmesh Pal, whose two increments were withheld by the department.
