ATM fraud: Rs 1 crore recovered

Gurgaon, May 9

The Gurgaon police today arrested Panipat resident Pramod along with over Rs 1 crore allegedly stolen from an ATM in Sector 23 Palam Vihar. The police was approached by an official of a Ghaziabad-based company that loaded cash in many ATMs across the city.

He alleged that one of the boys, Vinod, who loaded money in the Palam Vihar ATM had been found guilty of duping the company of around Rs 19 lakh.Vinod had allegedly stolen the money while loading cash in the ATM.

The company got an FIR registered. The police zeroed in on Pramod, Vinod’s close accomplice, and recovered this cash from his house. The police are looking for Vinod.
