The woman doctor, who filed a complaint in the district courts stating that the inquiry report pertaining to her case had gone missing from court files, has alleged that the police were hand in glove with the accused, who had been harassing her for the last six years.
The UT police have replied to her in response to an RTI query that they do not have the inquiry report.
The court had yesterday issued directions to the UT SSP and the SHO, Sector 39 police station, to produce the document.
The matter came to light when the woman complainant was inspecting her case files and noticed that the inquiry report on the basis of which the entire case was lodged was missing.
Acting on the complaint of the harassed doctor, the UT police had booked the accused, INLD member Ranjit Singh Panjatha, in 2012 following an inquiry conducted by the then DSP (Central) Ashish Kapoor.
Another case of sexual harassment was registered against Ranjit Singh in 2013.
In 2012, the police had booked Panjhetha under Sections 384 and 506 of the IPC and Section 66 of the IT Act. The accused allegedly sent threatening messages to the victim and demanded Rs 50 lakh.
The woman stated the accused had been harassing her for the past six years and she had been fighting it out for the past four years.
The complainant has denied any association with the accused.
