Father rapes daughter for year; in police net

An 11-year-old girl has accused her father of raping her for the past one year in Balah village of the district. Her father has been arrested, the police said today.
The girl alleged that her father had raped and also threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mandi, Hitesh Lakhanpal said.
The 32-year-old accused was divorced and was living with his daughter and son. The victim alleged that she was also abused by her uncle.
The DSP stated that the accused had been arrested and a case registered under Section 376 and Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences. Further investigation was going on.
