Maid found dead

Ludhiana, April 27

A 25-year-old maid was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Sector 38 on the Chandigarh road here today. The deceased has been identified as Meena Rani.

She worked as a domestic help at a house in Sector 38 and lived in the same house. The incident came to light when Meena did not come downstair in the evening to cook food. The owner's wife went upstairs to look for her. On opening the door, she was shocked to find Meena lying dead.

She raised the alarm and informed her husband about the incident.

Soon the police were called. The body was taken to Civil Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow.
