The Kangra police today registered a case against the parents of a girl for allegedly kidnapping their daughter who had married Sandeep Kumar of Dob village near Shahpur against their wishes in 2014.

The police said the girl married Sandeep Kumar and was living in this town. Sandeep lodged a report that his wife was kidnapped by her parents on April 13, 2015, and was remarried to a youth near Una.

The police registered a case and have started investigations. Teams were rushed to trace the kidnapped girl and arrest the ‘kidnappers’.
