Three booked for circulating Ram Rahim’s photos

Fatehabad, January 21

Three persons have been booked for circulating distorted pictures of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh on WhatsApp.

Police has registered FIRs at Ratia and Tohana in Fatehabad in this regard.

Representatives of the sect met the authorities in Fatehabad, warning that the district administration would be responsible for any law and order situation arising from the act.

In Tohana, followers of Dera Sacha Sauda lost cool after distorted pictures of Gurmeet Ram Rahim taken from MSG – the Messenger of God were posted by two persons on WhatsApp.

The angry followers went to the Tohana police station and lodged a complaint.

On the complaint of two dera followers — Sanjay Kumar and Praveen Pahwa — the police have registered a case of hurting religious sentiments under Section 295-A against two unknown persons.

In Ratia, the dera followers lodged a complaint of hurting their religious sentiments against Baljinder Singh.
