Sangrur, August 18
Three doctors have been booked by the police for allegedly beating up two doctors, including a woman, on the premises of Fun Square Cinema near here on August 14. A case was registered against the three doctors under Sections 323, 341, 382 and 34 of the IPC at the Sadar police station in Sangrur.
In his complaint to the police, Dr Mohit Goyal of Sangrur alleged his wife Dr Nancy Garg, with whom his divorce case is going on in the court, Dr Daizy Garg (sister of Nancy) and Dr Sachin Garg (brother of Nancy) beat him and his friend Dr Poonam Bharti at Fun Square Cinema near here. Besides, they also allegedly snatched the mobile phone of Dr Poonam and took it away with them.
Investigating Officer Hardev Singh today said no arrest had been made so far. — TNS
